IP business phone system
Although legacy PBX switchboards have been the mainstay of the communications department of firms till recently, they are fast being replaced by IP PBX, or Internet Protocol PBX. While legacy PBX systems are analog based, IP PBX is a digital technology that converts voice signals into digitized packets and transmits them over a data network.
It is relatively easy to switch from legacy PBX to IP PBX, whether it is a complete replacement or a partial or phased change. Whether it is moving from the traditional platform to the IP platform, expanding the network for a growing business, or even moving a connection from one location to another, everything in an IP PBX system is smooth and hassle-free; and because this new network based system can never become obsolete as a whole, the cost involved is very reasonable.
