Disabled Veteran in Need of Housing Print

This 58 year old American Veteran is in need of housing due to divorce and foreclosure. Loosing my beautiful home to foreclosure in which a lot of time and money were spent remodling (only for some lucky person to own and enjoy)all due to immigrant wife abandoning me and leaving me with a high mortgage. I am seeking a live in situation where I can perform light duties such as; light housekeeping (used to own a cleaning business 10 years), food shopping and cooking (excellent chef, wide menu), short errands, laundry, even ironing. Also able to perform light maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting) IN EXCHANGE FOR RENT. I used to be a hobbiest woodworker but the situation made me sell most machinery. (a shop that Norm Abrams would drool over) One of my works was sold to the Library of Congress some years back. Mathmatically speaking, this is the way I am looking at it: As an example,I should be worth at least $15.00 per hour for quality work(a pretty low rate in today's market). With the average room rental around $600 per month this would equate to an average of 9 hours per week of labor. Living on less than $1000 per month won't allow me to afford rent so please be understanding if you care to reply. I have received offers which required $600 per month rent which I'm sure are a great deals but money just will not permit it in my case. In addition to the above skills, I have impeckable references, a perfect 40 year driving record, non drinker, non smoker and completely void of ever doing drugs and absolutely no criminal record ever. All the foregoing is 100% verifiable. All references are from long time friends, distinquished fellow musicians and friends of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and University of MA. This person is also very neat, well dressed, well organized, clean and who likes children and the elderly. I am handicapped and require a place to put my full sized automobile which means that I cannot park on street which I'm sure you can understand. I am a disabled veteran living on a tiny disability pension. I find there is no veteran's preferance on most Federal Housing which is totally unacceptable in my book where there are tons of welfare people and illegal aliens frauding the system and taking up a lots of available federal and state housing not to mention waiting lists that are years long in many cases. I worked all my life, paid taxes not to mention serving my country during the Viet Nam War and feel highly stressed about the prospects of my facing no place to live now that I am disabled. No family to help either. It is with great difficulty that I resort to taking this step in finding a home. My only hope is that someone out there has something to offer and is willing enough to call. Currently, I am a free lance symphony musician (Oboist) (no, not a snake charmer) who requires several hours a day of practice. This assuredly can be worked around your schedule so as not to clash with your time at home. Thank you for your attention. You may call me at 561-449-3350 or if you wish to email me please do. You may send it to either of two email addresses: (Mario_Lanza4@Yahoo.com) or to: (Cirino90@Yahoo.com) to further discuss the possibilities. Thank you so much.
