| ASG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Nashua NH team and take the technical leadership role in planning and delivering the J2EE functionality for the TMON for eBusiness product. This role requires the development and implementation of technical strategies for responding to customer, market, and integration requirements. It also requires mentoring of new team members that are assigned to the J2EE features. 10 years experience in the field with a BS/MS.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ yrs. experience in extensive practical working knowledge of the J2EE and J2SE standards
- 3+ yrs. experience in In-depth knowledge of BEA WebLogic and/or IBM WebSphere application server, application server internals, JMX management, and application deployment
- 5 yrs experience in Java programming
- Experience in analyzing and tuning the performance of J2EE applications
- Familiarity with JVM internals and analysis APIs such JVMPI; and byte code instrumentation
- Application development using Swing/AWT and JSP/Servlet
- C, C++ programming
- Proven track record in designing and developing commercial software
- 3+ yrs. experience in architecting and implementing multi-tier distributed applications.
- 3+ yrs. experience in using rapid application development methodologies
- Strong process orientation
- Extensive knowledge of object-oriented design techniques
- Experience in developing performance analysis and management software e.g. debuggers, profilers, monitoring tools, testing tools
- BSc required, MSc preferred
